Welcome to Ashlands Nurseries, we are a Yorkshire based family run company specializing in growing and supplying Quality cell-grown stock for Forestry and Amenity planting.

Established in 1986 to grow Cell-grown Trees

Ashlands Trees was the first nursery to be established in the United Kingdom specifically for the production of cell-grown trees in a wide range of species. In the last twenty three years we have built up an enviable reputation for the quality of our stock, matched only by the quality of our service.

Those who are not familiar with cell-grown trees can be reassured that although they are still relatively new in Britain, cell-grown trees have been successfully used in Canada and Scandinavia for more than twenty years. In fact 60% of forestry planting stock world wide is now "cell-grown".

Comprehensive Stock Range

Ashlands Nurseries produce over 500,000 plants annually, covering a wide range of species, including Broadleaves, Conifers and Shrubs. Our cell-grown stock is grown using the Rootrainer production system.

To assist the customer who requires a more instant effect we stock a range of container grown native trees and shrubs.
